Our Pharmacology students once again enjoyed Dr. Daniel's presentation. One male student told me he's better equipped to face the "chemical war chest." I really appreciate bringing you in as an expert to speak to them. It lent more credibility to what we've been teaching them when we bring in a substance abuse expert. See you next semester.
Thank you for your time and expertise. I felt the training was excellent! Very helpful for my interaction with patients. I would like you to come back for more training. Great packet of materials that I will keep for reference.
We are seeing more and more substance use by patients coming to the center. We are raising funds to start our education program so this was a great start for us. We look forward to more sessions for the rest of our staff.
Great information. We learned about medication assisted treatments and our leadership has been wanting us to start using them. I think we'll have to do that training now so we can prescribe.
Our staff meets at least one patient per day who is addicted to some opiate. We need to understand opiate addiction better across all our disciplines so we can better treat our community.
My collegues and I refer patients already. We wanted to understand more so I'm glad (our CEO) brought you in to teach us more about this disease (of addiction). I want to be able to help my patients as they live in recovery without sounding like I don't know what they're going through.
I have substance use disorder in my family and my husband and I are careful with our children. We've already had the drug talk and now we have to have a better discussion on alcohol. Thank you for the information on genetics and pre-disposition.
It's funny, that story about the co-worker you told, we've had several collegues who fit that description. They're not here any more and I'll bet it's for the same reason. I wish we would have all gone through this training years ago.
We know legal and medical THC is coming, it's just a matter of time until we have to deal with real world situations. Thank you for your help, our committee will be issuing a recommendation report to make changes to our policy manual.
We had a bit of an antiquated policy having to do with alcoholism. We really needed to update it. Thanks for coming in and working with us. We understand the issues a little better now. We have more questions now though so glad you're coming back.

Excellent video on the opioid epidemic. Like the knowledge, and the context of simplicity. Straight and to the point. Excellent.
This film on Heroin Addiction and how it starts was very educational. Thanks.
We are based in Seattle and have developed some advanced MATs treatments for addiction, combining individual pill identification and behavior therapy in a phone app. Like your Treatment Video, we're using it in conjunction with our treatment protocol for first time patients and families.
Thanks for posting this. I used it during a team building excercise I lead for a public library board workshop. All of us would get together and the discussion would devolve into multiple factions. I thought by calming down we would be able to focus better on the actual tasks at hand. My fall back alternate was a hammer.
...I like that I can show the video at the beginning of our third day of employee orientation week when we talk about our EAP and benefits. We have noticed we have far fewer issues when we approach them rather than the issues hitting us.
